There is a variety of cruises available down in the Marina de Albufeira, 8.8km from Jardins de Pera.
Leãozinho Pirate Ship
Join the crew of the “Leãozinho” (Little Lion) pirate ship and sail along the beautiful beaches and rock formations of the Algarve. Cruises vary from 2 hours (the Captain Hook cruise) to 6 hours (the BBQ cruise)
You can also enjoy the wonderful sunset of the Algarvian coast by taking the Sunset Cruise.

Insonia Caves & Dolphin Watching
Courtesy of the same company as Leãozinho Pirate Ship (Dream Wave Algarve), cruise along the Algarve coast between Marina de Albufeira and Carvoeiro beach. Relax and enjoy the caves, rock formations, an ocean swim and then continue your journey away from the coastline for the dolphin search. Duration approximately 2 hours.

Algar Experience
Enjoy a magnificent cruise aboard the “Arimar”, a typical Algarvian boat lovingly restored at the Marina de Albufeira. See the marine life aboard another boat with a glass bottom which passengers are transferred on to in the beautiful fishing village of Benagil.
There are 2 programs to choose from – “Caves and Coastline” (3 hours) and “BBQ” (7 hours)

You don’t have to enjoy a cruise when visiting Marina De Albufeira. There are rows of shops along the road behind the marina. Relax along the quayside in some of the bars and restaurants or just sit in the sun and admire the view of the many boats, sea life and the colourful buildings around the marina. A great place to spend an afternoon.
